I’ll never forget Death Note’s second OP. This guys are insane!!!
I think the guitarist said once that the song is in part about how bands sell out from their roots/beginnings. You can see that in the flow of the song and the video.
The “winny” referenced in the song is the Japanese version of napster which had shut down by the time this song qas released. Ive always windered if there was any poking fun of Metallica in this song.
I always admire drummers who also sing! the female singer is their drummer

Maximum the Hormone is my favourite band I understand very little of and this video is the best. My best descriptive translation at the end is that Dai-chan (the singer) says he won’t forgive Winny. Nao (the drummer) informs him that nobody uses Winny anymore and says that his yelling is scaring the children. He asks the little girl if she feels the same way about Winny and Nao reacts that she doesn’t even understand him and notes that the girl is the last one left but is leaving. Dai-chan asks the girl who’s wandered off if she hates Winny too and Nao makes a comment about Dai-chan making a face like his mom does.
