She’s also the inspiration to female drummers like Akane from Band-Maid! This song is a response to fans who criticized Ryo for losing weight (for heath reasons). Recommend A.L.I.E.N. This is one of the most creative, multifaceted and entertaining bands on the Japanese rock scene … In their videos, in addition to a lot of musical variety, there are many cultural references from their country … it is not always easy to understand them … But they are great composers and talented musicians. The lady in the pop scene is the Drummer LMFAO. Nao the drummer is one of the most prolific drummers in Japan, a large portion of the female drummers you have seen in other Japanese Metal reactions are drummers because they were inspired by Nao. This band is old man, they have been around since the ’90s and most of the members are in their mid 40’s now. I wish they still had their live shows on youtube, the energy is fucking insane.

Maximum The Hormone is a avand-garde, heavy punk groove metal band from Tokyo Japan. They’ve been around since 1998. They mostly got famous overseas because of the anime Death Note by their song What’s Up People?. The band name was made from the word “horumon” is a kind of Japanese cuisine made from beef or pork offal, so the word play is that they are eating maximum to it when they were starting.
So the band members are:
Maximum The Ryo-kun – guitar and dirty vocals
Ue-chan – bass and backup vocals
Daisuke-han – main vocals and growling
Nao – drums and clean vocals
Ryo and Nao are siblings, she is the eldest. It was Nao and Daisuke-han the founder of the band. You should react to more their music. Japan’s metal treasure.
The main dude barfing lost some weight and some of his fans are like “aye why’d you loose weight you looked better fat” and the entire song is about his response of “shut the fuck up do you have any idea how scary the repercussions are of being fat?” like the drummer doing the disco thing is the imagery of his fans saying “stop trying to be healthy no dieting just fat” and the immediate part after is “no urine stones are pretty scary man.”
LOL Maximum the Hormone is a Legendary band, the King of all genre bending bands.. This band is the inspiration to Hanabie, Akane of Band-Maid, Nemophila and others alike 🤘😬🤘🎌
