I’ve enjoyed your channel for quite a while and I’m happy to see that you’re back to posting videos again and enjoying doing it. I highly recommend the band Dir en Grey. They’re a truly special, dark band with fantastic lyrics and they’re arguably the most respected japanese metal band. Stylistically each album tends to be a different experience. I highly recommend starting out with either the album Arche or Dum Spiro Spero. All of the songs on those albums are terrific and very atmospheric, while also being really heavy. I think many are introduced to them through the song “Different Sense”
The vocalist, Kyo, tends to be referred to as the japanese Mike Patton, the guy can do some crazy things with his voice.

Ryo (リョ) is a name you can’t really say in English. It’s not “Ree-oh”, but more like “Yo,” with an “r” in front of it: something like “R’yo,” except the “r” sounds kinda like a “d”. Japanese is fun.

They’re very talented

I’m usually not a fan of plugging other bands in a comment, but you should check out Nemophila’s cover of MTH’s song Shimi (シミ). The cover is one of Nemophila’s best to date (in my opinion) and there’s no video of the original version on Youtube. It’s one of my favorite songs of MTH, even if it’s a bit more straightforward than most. It’s also pretty impressive how Mayu switches between all three MTH’s of vocalists.

Very highly recommend マキシマム ザ ホルモン 『maximum the hormone』 Music Video (Full ver.) Full on MtH, this is one of my favourites. The musical accompaniment to the dancing pregnant ladies is a highlight.

You mentioned Red Hot Chili Peppers, the bassist, Ue-Chan, is inspired by Flea. So much so, he plays the same bass, styles his playing after Flea and even has a same tattoo. The drummer for Band-Maid, Akane, was inspired to play drums after seeing the MTH drummer Nao. Enjoying your J-Rock/J-Metal journey. Keep rocking 🤘😊🤘

Koi no mega lover and bu-ikikaesu are classics by this band, but you can’t go wrong with any of there songs to be honest
