Mayu is such an amazing vocalist – she’s singing the parts of three people from the original and not only transitioning befween them effortlessly, but also nailing the tone and vibrato on the clean segments – and even throwing in a bit of jpop/kawaii style! And having Haraguchi-san double Mayu with a clean vocal underneath adds depth and dimension – brilliant choice. – – – Be sure not to miss their new single “Hypnosis” which drops on Nov. 17: Haraguchi wrote the music and Hazuki (blue Ibanez) wrote the lyrics. Such a group of smart, talented women! I dare say I’ve been listening to rock and metal a few more years than you 😉 and I agree – the fact that they’re an all-female band makes no difference. They’re just damn good. Period.

The original Maximum The Hormone song uses three vocalists which Mayu does a decent job to emulate – MTH can be hard to cover at the best of times. And it seems all female drummers bring their children up with MTH! MTH’s drummer is now a cool mother of two and an inspiration to many.
Hara is singing a backing harmony for this there all in there own homes they do these for fun and giggles put a date in your dairy for the 17th 3 days time as the new original Hypnosis comes out .Only MTH can top Nemo doing a MTH song LOL

A good female rock/metal band was Girls School, late 70’s, I don’t know if they evet played over here meaning the state. I seen them I guess around a half dozen times but they were the opener which was alright with me because I liked them, seen them open for Rush, Rainbow and others doesn’t matter. Check out the the lp Hit and Run. Oh and I was in Germany at the time. Rock On!
