Who needs 3 vocalists when you have 1 Mayu?
Mayu puts the majority of idols to shame with this song. I bet most idols wish they could sound like Mayu does for Nao’s part.
I love BANDMAID and I love Yoyoka BUT Nemophila is just too epic for me to ignore any longer. What a tremendous performance. The energy and sheer excellence of the musicians grabbed me by the ears and slapped me around and said”Wake up”! Well I am awake! Thank you Wave!
Haraguchi-san started her bass lesson with 5 strings since high school and she said because it was cool. She never get used to 4 strings bass.
Yessss! What a great choice. One of my all-time favourite band is covered by one of my favourite new bands….pure badassery! They’re so amazing. Mayu actually does all three vocals in this and does it phenomenally 🤘🤘🤘oh, and Hara-chan is the cutest ever🤷🏻♂️😍
Of Nemo’s covers, their MTH covers are by far my fav. Seeing Mayu cover all the vocal parts of the 3 singers is such a treat, always go into them wondering how the hell is she going to pull it off. The super cutesy vocals were prob covering Nao’s parts, to differentiate them from Ryo’s parts.
Every time I hear this cover it puts a smile on my face🙂
You know what’s another difficult thing about covering MTH songs? That in most of their songs they have 3 different people singing: the Guitarist Ryo, the screamer Daisuke and the drummer Nao!!
And here Mayu does voices of all of 3!
And her kawaii clean vocals give me a shiver everytime xD

You know they also did a really good job covering BabyMetal’s “Megitsune”?
Nemophila do a multitude of fantastic covers but their Maximum the Hormone covers are their best. You can tell how engaged all of them are playing it (Haraguchi-SAN’s head banging is especially epic). Mayu’s vocal gymnastics are super impressive. I highly recommend their other MTH cover Zetsubou Billy.
It’s gotten to the point where, in any of these lock down remote recordings, if Murata Mini-Me doesn’t toddle into the shot at some point, I feel slightly cheated somehow.
There is nothing Nemophila can not cover and often do it better than the original artist! Thank you for reacting to this video.
