Scandal is one of the groups I don’t have sufficient time as yet, to explore. They are as you say Power Pop, going by memory of the few songs I have checked by them. Certainly visually appealing and the can play well live, similar to many Japanese female bands.
I have never taken to Maximum The Hormone so both of the songs are a pass for me.
High And Mighty Colour’s song i enjoyed but i don’t know any other material from the,. Another future band to look up.
Lovebites proving they live up to their ‘relentless’ mantra. I love the nod to Beethoven’s filth symphony’s opening chords at the beginning of the song.
i love Scandal. You for sure have to check out more. The four of them started in high school. They just passed their 15th anniversary. Check out their song “Masterpiece”

Careful about posting Scandal. They tend to hand out copyright strikes. They tend to be very random about it too. People will post stuff and it will stay up unblocked for months or years, than Blam!, copyright strike, out of the blue. It seems to be more prevalent on their older Epic records stuff, but I’m not sure what does and doesn’t get unwanted attention.
