This song is the memories of guitarist Ryo from the time he was bullied at school because of his excess weight.

After getting into Band Maid, I learn’t that Miku (Band Maids rhythm guitarist and 2nd singer) listened to these guys on the way to and from work at her Maid Cafe, which lead her to the idea of forming Band Maid (Cute maids playing hard/heavy rock). And then you have Akane (Band Maids drummer), who was inspired by Nao (MTH’s drummer) to take the drums and realise that girls can do this, play drums in a rock/metal band. Maximum the Hormone is a huge influence on Band Maid. Not necessarily on their sound or style, but just on their existence. Their thinking was “If Nao can do it, Why can’t we??”. I love MTH almost as much as I love Band Maid. The only difference between them is that Band Maid are more prolific. I just wish that these buggesr had more songs… but as one say’s…. quality over quantity. Anywhoo, if you want to see MTH VS Band Maid….
