Maximum The Hormone “Prediction Revenge” Music Video **Reaction**

This song is basically about Ryu, the guitarist, getting bullied in school….. And MTH telling off the bullies. At least that is what I’ve read about the song.

Maximum The Hormone don’t really have a set music style, so to say they are heavy metal would be wrong, yes they do a lot of heavy, but they are not defined by it. They range from SoD/RHCP to Offspring/Weezer, some times in the same song, as you’ve found out, why? because they can, and want to just do what they want to do.

I know it’s probably difficult for you to pronounce the name of the songs but it’s better if you name the video in Japanese “Yoshu Fukushu” because nobody names their songs by the translation. Anyay this is one of their best songs, most of bands their best songs are on the first albums but this was like their 6th release counting full albums and mini albums and some of their greatest songs are on this album.

For the lyrics.. well.. the song talks about Ryo(guitarist) getting bullied in school and finding his way into life thanks to rock and his guitar. Also Nao(drummer) makes fun of Ryo’s brain.. they tend to joke about themselves a lot ahah
Anyway you could always check the lyrics later, it would add some meaning to what you just watch, for sure!

About the “comic book”.. When Yoshu Fukushu (the album with the same title as this song is from) released, they had someone make a manga about a story Ryo made. It’s really funny even without knowing japanese. I read they did it again for a newer cd too but not too sure about the contents in that.

I already made some suggestion in the last video so I won’t be asking for more, but it could be fun if you did a reaction to the album “Yoshu Fukushu” once you’re done with “ALIEN” and “Utsukushiki Hitobito no Uta” and “Tsume Tsume Tsume” (<- In the last comment I told you about my other channel, so that's where you can find those. Same with listening to the album) "Koi no Sperm" has a video too but it's more them running in circle and dancing with a green screen behind.. so it's not really a must watch 🙂 As always, if you have any question, feels free to ask me!
