This song was the 2nd ending of the anime Death Note. All the people singing and playing then dying are a reference to the anime, where people dies when you write their names on the Death Note. It’s not just that, but that’s the central idea.

This video is showing some image of Japanese music for example, Visual Kei, rappers and Jpop idols, etc. There’s a person writing into a notebook if you know the anime Death Note and those people got killed.

Even in official vid they gave couple mentions of Death Note, to which this song is opening to.
First, vid is starting with OPEN NOTE, similar to one ( *true* ) Light was using. Second, You can see bloody(?) ‘KIRA’ note on table with death players around. In anime this opening also shown when Yagami gave up his Death Note for time beeing… To which connection can be later scene in video, where ‘Oryginal’ camming back to us, cilling everyone on their way.
Like in anime vid, we can see Light going against everyone else:

That’s why I wanted to link my other channe where I post their stuff xD There’s a lot of videos with REALLY bad quality while I’m trying to share the videos at their best quality that I can find!

Also YES you were right on the “they killed the others” As Rick Nascimento said, this is the 2nd ending of the Death Note anime (What’s up people was the 2nd opening to that show too!) so the video is a reference to it. Some of the people should be popular persons in the japanese media. Btw this song does have somewhat a dark joke, the “first band” at the start of the video is the band Parfait and I think their first singer died (that’s what I heard). So basically they are making.. not really “fun” of them but.. you get what I’m saying. 🙂

All the people in the first half of the video are famous Japanese musicians or pop culture figures. The song itself is from an anime called Death Note, where the main character, known as Kira (killer) can kill people by writing their name in a magic notebook (the death note). That explains why everyone died midway through the video, and the “my name is Kira” lyric during the breakdown.
