You should def check out the band Maximum the Hormone as well as Nemophila’s other cover of Maximum The Hormone called ZETSUBO BILLY, it’s just as good as this cover. Amongst a plethora of their amazing covers, Nemophila’s MTH covers are the best. I also recommend you check out their other MTH Zetsubo Billy.
I am 100% on the ‘approacheble’ attitude NEMOPHILA have. They are more than happy to ‘hang out’ with their fans based on their live performance attitude. In fact, all bands/musicians that involved in SHOW-YA’s NAONのYAON project are fun to be with and it proved that they value more towards friendship and family values compare to other major/more established all female band despite them having more technical superiority on the scene. They have been involving in so much more collaboration with other band and other bands also willing to be part of NEMOPHILA performance – and that shows their attitude towards their surroindings going forward. This could be the heavy metal legend in the making with down to earth personality of everyone involve with the band.
While no one can quite do Maximum The Hormone like Maximum The Hormone, Nemophila get the feel and attitude right and just enjoy the hell out of the performance. Very cool.

Maximum the Hormone is in another world as a band, they are just a trip. The song you started playing at the end is the song Yoshu Fukushu and it is a great starting point for Maximum the Hormone. Nemophila also cover Zetsubou Billy by Maximum the Hormone and it is as good as Shimi. Bonus you get to see Tamu sing some lead as well.
The heavy parts were a bit heavy for me in a general sense, but it worked for me ❤️🔥😎😁😉👍🚌💨💨💨💨💨💨
Both Nemophilia and Maximum The Hormone have the same carefree approach to music. They know they are good musicians, so they can treat themselves and have fun while playing. Not everything needs to be perfect. So I agree with you. I would also hang out with them in the studio and have fun.
NEMOPHILA is breaking big. Look for their new single ADABANA release on 22 Jun. Another next release following in Jul appears to have HARA-chan on vocals. 🌸✨🌠
Yeah Maximum the Hormone are kinda weird regarding their videos: there are some that they removed from Youtube….
They are pretty eclectic, sometimes very heavy, some times the jump around genres! They have been active for more than 20 years, and they had some major influence in Japanese Metal scene
Only band that can cover MTH and do it justice in my opinion.
They also cover a song called Zetsubo Billy by MAXIMUM THE HORMONE.
