great reaction Bobby, this day show was Metrock 2015 in japan, this mth concert was insane and the audience was on the same level, they recently played at hellfest 2022 in France and the concert was insane too, too bad there was no broadcast on live or recording, a little curiosity was that babymetal also played at metrock 2015 and the concert was pretty insane too but you can’t find it on youtube anymore

the whoo hoo song is “song 2” by Blur. Fun bit of trivia, it is the same lead vocalist as Gorillaz

Yes, the title is (nearly) correct. Koi no Speruma = Love of Sperm. The song is mostly about masturbation! I actually just finished making a lyric video of this a couple of days ago. Hit me up on e-mail if you want a link.

Fun Fact. When making the lyric video I recognised one of the stages (Kishidan Banpaku 2013) from another vid, so I did some digging and found out that I was correct. This was their closing song and they were followed on stage by Momoiro Clover Z – one of the most popular female Idol groups in Japan 🙂

Alan from Dicodec is a huge Maximum The Hormone fan, so yes his title is correct. The audio of this video comes from the album, this is not live recorded audio.

The actual translation is close to what you had in the beginning though. Sperma is close to the English word and 恋 -> Koi means (romantic) love. Koi can also mean carp in Japanese (with a different Kanji) but that probably doesn’t have anything to do with it. I’m not sure if they use that as a pun or something in the lyrics, my Japanese is certainly not good enough to understand lyrics.

They have multiple songs with 恋 (Koi) in the title, almost on every album, a lot of them with seemingly crazy titles. Like 恋のメガラバ (Koi no mega lover), but there are worse ones. I have a feeling there is a reason why or that they are connected, but I have only started listening to them a little over half a year ago, so I am sure I am missing some info on that.
