This and Zetsubou Billy are my favorite covers. Mayu is just incredible. They add so many endearing bits: Tamu’s daughter, Mayu’s kawaii voice, Haraguchi-San’d mega head banging, Hazuki’s cheeky look at the camera. You can tell how much they’re into MTH and how much they enjoy playing together. It’s hard not to love this band.
Nemophila do MTH so damn well. I wish they would do more MTH covers.
Gave it a thumbs up after just seeing what the Nemo reaction was today. This is one of the best covers they have done and my personal favorite. This one cemented it for my the full power of mayu’s vocals. Oh, and Hazuki’s eyebrows for the win! 😂
Haraguchi-san’s faces and headbanging really make this video for me 😂 she’s so into it
シミ (Shimi) is still my favourite MTH song.
I already knew about them, but never got around to give them a chance before I saw the Nemophila covers.
The Nemophila cover of Shimi did me insta-buy the album it was on (and a bunch of other stuff afterwards).
Bot covers are great, as are the originals.
If they weren’t one of the best current bands around, they’d definitely be the best covers band in the world ! 🤘😁🤘

I can’t blame you to be careful with MTH reactions, since they are so random with blocks… I know of a channel who had MTH reactions up for 1 year, and suddenly MTH claimed all the reactions, and the channel got 3 strikes at the same time and got taken down.
Mayu’s Kawaii vocals for this song are amazing xD

I don’t remember If I already told you, but MTH drummer (Nao) was the inspiration for most modern japanese female drummers: Band-maid, Lovebites and Nemophila drummers all said she was a great inspiration to them! There is a video where Tamu clearly says she started drumming thanks to Nao!
Kawakita Nao is a great inspiration for Tamu-san ( as for most of this generation female drummers). A song with mini-Tamu is such a joy!

6:08 that’s actually called the kawaii voice indeed, japanese girls do it a lot. Moa in Babymetal is always doing the kawaii voice, as she is an idol, to the point that people does not recognize her real voice. She sometimes puts her real voice in there like some background sentences in Da Da Dance for example, and I bet a lot of their fans do not even know. But I am going off of the topic, sorry my Babymetal nature. It’s not only Mayu doing it here, I bet even Nao does it in Maximum the Hormone when she sings.
