For anyone wondering why this is such a weird thing by MTH,
the anime itself is one of those stories that start very “normal” by shonen standards and then get so twisted and fucked up and so weird overall ..
and it all happens SO QUICKLY, that imho that electronic part feels so fitting for this show.
Chainsaw Man is a very weird story for such normal shounen setting.
Definitely recommend to anybody if they are curious and like comedy-horror, superpowers and gore-y stuff.
(Im sure most ppf already heard of it anyway tho, since it’s the most anticipated/hyped anime in the history of anime, lmfao)

To my knowledge, the part of the song that comes off as incomprehensible garble is just Ryo doing the japanese Onomatopoeia for chainsaw noises and metering it as if they were actual lyrics (listen closely and you’ll hear it). One of the only few artists in the world that would think to pull off using onomatopoeia after a breakdown to carry the underlying groove of their song into a genre transition. What’s cooler is that Ryo’s utterances during that verse are done in a way where they sound like they he’s saying distinct words…….it’s absolutely ridiculous! I also love that the digital beeps are in a similar pattern to the strings playing during the “demon in the name of devil” chant prior to the breakcore section; MTH is fucking sick

This band never fails to amaze me, one thing I really love about MtH is how their songs change… first time I’ve heard them is from Death Note anime and I started to love them, but my top fave are Tsume Tsume Tsume and Benjo Sandal Dance😌 Really love the band members especially the siblings🥰
Already this composition is due to the beauty of MAXIMUM THE HORMONE musical style.
If you’re interested in watching any anime at all and you’re not turned off by gore/violence, Chainsaw Man is just great and this adaptation has just so much care and quality put into it. This series is fantastic at taking really dumb comedic moments and subtly twisting them into actually hard-hitting mature character moments that just work super well.
Won’t go into detail because of spoilers, but it’s definitely a great watch, and this season is already going to cover a ton of great moments.
The more I listen to this song the better it gets

Love Maximum the Hormone, and love some good insane breakcore. Was blessed to grow up with a local musical collective making some fucking mental stuff when I grew up. Look up some Life4Land stuff, think there’s some Brain Damage Radio mixes up still that are full of it!
