Mappa’s vision for this anime is incredible. Each ending makes you wanting for more.
No tiene sentido lo bueno que están los 5 endings,literalmente es lo que más hype me causa en cada capítulo.
The fact that every episode so far has had a unique ending and they’re *all* several times better than most shows can manage ONCE per season is unreal.
I like how trippy and eerie this ending feels and yet is a banger.
The eternal loops and foreshadowing with horses:- Black for famine, White for Conquest, Red for War, Guns and Scatterings horse, Pale horse for death and the Plush horse for a new conquest is genius.
This is the BEST ENDING out of all anime I’ve ever seen. Truly an artistic masterpiece.
Definitely my favourite one yet, I love Syudou’s songs and I love when he growls while singing. The visuals are filled to the brim with good foreshadowing and symbolism yet still entertaining for those that don’t care about that stuff. Just a good ending all around.
I hope this brings some light into Syudou and other CSM EDs artists’ works
Es impresionante el trabajo que metió MAPPA con todos los detalles. Este es un ending increíble, representando el hecho de que estan caminando en circulos dentro del hotel y yendo directamente hacia la muerte y el caos. No escatimaron en gastos de ningun tipo.

He is a genius at putting chainsaw sounds into music. The elements of the back room are linked to episode 5 where you are trapped in a hotel, and the lyrics hint at the development of the final episode. And above all, Kobeni is cute!!!
Whoever came up with the idea of a different ending for each episode is a god, I have enjoyed each one and expect the next. Top tier adaptation
Definitely the best ed so far . The visuals are absolutely stuning , the song is great plus a ton kf references.
The quality of this ED is actually nuts. The homages to classical art remind me of the sections like that in Berserk.

Out of all the CSM OPs and EDs, ending 05 really stood out in terms of aesthetics and depth. The animation mainly incorporated most famous art movements and styles jumping on different periods– from medieval to modern. You can notice classicism, neo, renaissance art, Pieta, expressionism, kafkaesque, Centaur symbolisms, still life, cubism, surrealism, Penrose stairs, dadaism, optical and psychedelic art, futurism, conceptual art, and more avant garde art forms and allegories depicted in every scene, even on its transitions!
There’s too much going on in every second and tons of details to grasp in just one sitting. With all its references and foreshadowing elements (Four Horsemen, gun barrel sequence, etc. ) You have to replay it couple more times to grasp something deeper. It is an absolute tease for both watchers and manga readers.
Really one of the most aesthetic and esoteric EDs I’ve seen in anime.
You know the artists and the team invested much creative juice and effort on this one 💣 Kudos.

The visual that pops in at 1:18 is absolutely insane to look at. It really portrays the depth of the darkness Denji’s journey will take him on.

Every single one of these endings have been amazing. I’ve been sharing them with my brother who isn’t into anime, but he’s into art and music, and even he’s enjoying them all. I might get him to watch this show for once.
The song is a banger and the visuals is some of the best I’ve seen in years. Best ending yet!
This ending is amazing. The music is a complete banger. The visual it’s not just good, it’s so unique, every frame is a literal artwork. It has meaning and hint for upcoming devils in the anime – infinite loops and illusions, and manga – four horses. A subtle hint with double image of Makima and a hand holding a heart?, Aki slowly descends down a spiral stair-case full of destruction. This is better than majority of ED OST I have ever heard so far.
I really hope this encourages more people to look up Syudou’s work, he’s one of my favorite vocaloid producers
どの曲もアートワークが新鮮で考察しがいのある要素が散りばめられてるから何度も見ちゃう。それで回していくうちに曲自体にも愛着が湧くんだよね〜

There’s a lotta details packed into this ed, so if you wanna look at specific frames that flash by really quickly, it helps to know that if you pause, you can use the comma key to go back a single frame, and the period key to go forward a single frame.
Some stuff I noticed:
– At 0:10, when Kobeni’s face shows up, the rug & ceiling behind her have teeth, and when Arai appears, the stairs have eyes.
– There’s a lot of horse imagery for some reason? At 0:11, all the horses we see in the opening make an appearance. (Another commenter noticed that each horse represents a character: dark horse is Arai, stuffed unicorn w/ knife horn is Kobeni, centaur is Himeno, headless red horse is Power, and weapon/hands horse is Aki. Denji probably doesn’t have a horse cuz he’s a dog lol.)
– The head at 0:26 is Arai’s head (scar) in a bath of blood, which is a reference to The Shining because of the creepy hotel theme.
– At 0:35, the shapes around Himeno are guns.
– At 0:38, you can see Angel Devil in the bottom right picture frame & Pochita near the center.
– At 0:40, the shadow of the window creates a cross over the Biblical inspired painting of Makima and Denji.
– At 0:48, each Power has a different expression.
– I especially love the Trinity Knot of chainsaws at 0:49, which symbolizes life, death, and rebirth. Denji has technically lived, died, and been resurrected, so can therefore be considered a saint, which is shown by the halo around his hand.
– If you pause somewhere at 1:18, you can see some real disturbing images of demons surrounding Denji.

It took me a million rewatches to notice the last horse’s nose is a gun lol, the level of detail in this ending in particular is insane

This ending is just perfect. Absolutely ridiculous.
I really like how hard all of the CSM EDs go, i feel like 99% of all other animes have settled for the laid back ED that pales in comparison to the OP, and Mappa managed to pop out consistant bangers that rival some of the elite tier OPs, atleast for me.
This is definitely my favorite ending so far and I’m not gonna lie I like it just as much as the opening.

I love just about everything about this ED. Not much else to say, really.
Love how the song is called “In the Backroom”, and the animation and end of the episode elude to being trapped in a liminal space.

When I heard that Mappa was going to be animating CSM I was very excited! I know how much work the animators part of Mappa productions put into their work,and all of these different endings show how incredible the animators really are. Thank you so much Mappa! You guys never fail to amaze me.

This feels more like an Opening than an Ending. Like if the Hotel Arc would take an entire season.
it’s insane the work that is being done with this series, truly insane. What would make me the happiest though– it’s raising your animators salary more! they’re doing an outstanding job!
I was really surprised at all the references to western art/artists. This ending is packed heavily with meaning and references. It’s beautiful and matches perfectly with the music. It’s really fun to look at the comment and read about everyone’s interpretations of the imagery.
ホテルの階がループして外に出られない5話の様子とthe backroomsの不規則な部屋を永遠と彷徨う恐怖感がマッチしてて好き。
その他にも先のストーリーを思わせる演出が細かくちりばめられてて好き。
ゴールド・エクスペリエンス・レクイエムパワーちゃんが好き。syudouさんの曲もかっこよくて好き。

This ED is so fitting for the episode. In The Back Room by Syudou is clearly inspired by THE Back Room (it’s a sorta ARG where people no-clip into a dimension that’s all yellow walls and monsters lurk around). In episode 5, our cast is trapped in an apartment that loops into itself like it’s its own dimension. And similarly the walls are tinted orange.
If I’m understanding the lyrics correctly, the song is about the speaker following someone into the Back Room. They aren’t sure if they’re doing it out of love, but they’re willing to dive far into the Back Room for that person. This mirror’s Denji’s relationship with Makima; At this point, he’s not sure if he loves her, but she’s definitely willing to go far for the things he wants, a good life, good food, and a girlfriend (or boobs and sex, it’s all the same to Denji at this point in the story).

Mapa just woke up and decided to take the anime industry to another level, after Jujutsu kaisen It seemed to be better than ever, but it was not enough for them. Just geniuses, just amazing adaptation
MAPPA really went all out for this anime and as a manga reader I really appreciate it coz this show deserves all the love!

I had high expectations for this adaptation and they completely and utterly exceeded it. It brings me inner peace knowing that the animating of this story is being curated by talented hands and visionaries.

I absolutely love what the studio is doing with this series. The cinematographic style is so unique and really gives that extra je ne sais quoi that this series deserves. This is such a peculiar story and im glad theyre taking big swings with the anime to reflect that, this is def my fav ED so far

These outros obviously contain some spoilers/references/motives for the next episode, so they can go over the head of people like me, who haven’t read the manga. That ‘got’cha’ moment of rewatching the outro after the episode is such an overwhelmingly good feeling. Absolutely amazing work by Mappa.
