That’s the drummer Nao at the beginning and end of the video.
She’s a great heavy drummer.
It’s not too surprising that she was a big inspiration to both Tamu (Nemophila) and Akane (BAND-MAID).
Their transitions are really great. I totally agree.
Here’s another MtH song –
‘Let’s Talk About Menkata Cottelee’:

Fantastic reaction to a fantastic band doing a fantastic song! I think that’s 3 fantastics, but bonnets can’t count. Enjoyed every minute. You’ve passed the beginner’s course; now you’re ready for more advanced Maximum The Hormone like “Maximum The Hormone II” and “Alien”. Keep ‘em coming! I can provide links if you would find them useful.

Would love to see your reaction to a new Japanese all female metal band called Lonesome Blue and their newest song called Face The Fear. Awesome band!

As another Commenter said, guitarist Ryo wrote this because he was bullied in school. The school his sister walks through in the beginning is actually Ryo’s old school where the bullying took place. There aren’t many songs where Nao (drummer and Ryo’s older sister) sings lead, but she sings at some point in all of the songs I can think of. MTH formed in 1998, 2 years after SOAD, and they are often compared to SOAD. They also have flavors of Red Hot Chili Peppers because the bass player is a Huge Flea fan. I think if SOAD and RHCP had a Japanese Lovechild it would be named MTH 🙂. BTW – Nao is the Inspiration for many Japanese female drummers because she proved you can have children AND a Metal musician career. I LOVE this band!!

Great Reaction.
This is probably my favourite MTH track!
Without Babymetal, I would never have discovered this awesome band.
Like Babymetal’s Ijime, Dame, Zettai this track is about bullying and how it has no place in society.
Ryo Kawakita – guitar and vocals, was bullied and this is his response.

This song is so emotional. It just guts me every time I hear it. The greatest anti bullying anthem ever written.
