I totally relate with you asking “What?” at the beginning of the video 🤣The first time I watched it I got intriged about the meaning of that initial short videoclip with a somehow ‘lame’ version of the band performing a really bizarre tune (even – and especially – for MtH standards). Then, I looked for explanations and, apparently, that was a sample of a joke videoclip they dropped after some time without any new music release, where they straight up chose to perform a J-pop reggae song (an emo genre very popular in Japan at the time). Their fans got really concerned they could had gone down the popular road… Then, this full version of the video was released, giving a very clear idea of MtH opinion about that type of mainstream music (literally throwing up on it). So, this bold attitude of the band towards the ‘same-same’ music industry got even more of my respect and admiration. Besides, the trippy bassist was the one who stole my heart in this song. Thanks for keeping this band around in the channel!
This was really dope, I got put onto these guys from a fighting game called Guilty Gear, there’s a song on there called “Mirror of The World” that sounds like it was inspired by their sound. Then chainsaw man comes around and features them for one of their credit sequences. I think you’d really enjoy both of those if you haven’t listened to them already, especially Guilty Gear, the creator of the game is also in charge of the music and is head over heels for stuffing the games full of rock and metal references. From the sounds you hear in the songs to the move names. Here’s hoping you keep finding sick music to consume through the rest of 2023, happy new year everyone!
Hey 2Gen, nice to be back in this new year with some MTH and their selftitled track 🍻. Of course this is more than fire. Fireworks you could say 🎇🌋😁. They are like an energy drink. Take a sip and feel the energy floating through your veins 🕺. Let us all hope they come back to europe for some shows this year. I can’t wait to see them again. And now i’m hungry for some ramen 🍜😛

Awesome Dan! I laughed when you said that you felt like you’re tripping when you see a MtH video. Good stuff… great reaction!
