The story here is that Winny was like the Japanese version of Napster. It’s now defunct, but the latter half of this song is a parody of the people in the music industry who were pushing back against it. Also, I don’t remember if the Gaijin Guys mentioned this, or if you remember it, but their drummer Nao is Akane’s biggest influence as a drummer.
Love MtH. They’re so out there in the best way. Bonus: Nao is the inspiration for Akane to make it as a drummer.

If we didn’t have MTH, we may never would have Band Maid. Think about that, Po! 🦍🍌A-ka-ne was inspired to be a drummer (like many other female drummers) by Nao Kawakita (drummer MTH).
Finally after many years of waiting Maximum the Hormone has the spotlight. The band that inspires Bando-Maid, Nemophila and Hanabie. Hope more to come 🤘🥁🎌
Well done for noticing Nao the Drummer was the singer in the wedding dress, you would be surprised how many reactors don’t notice (until she goes behind the drums obv). I literally lol’ed when you said It just doesn’t stop almost on beat to where it was about to go J-Pop. You should listen to Yoshu fukushu next, then everything else.

Maximum the Hormone takes on a real rollercoaster ride with the occasional left turn out of nowhere. I would like to recommend my favorite MTH track: “HUNGRY PRIDE” its a straight up adrenaline ride.

I’ve been waiting for you to get to this band. I too started late with them but man am I glad I started. This band has become one of my favorites since I started my channel. Yoshu Fukushu, Koi No Sperma and Let’s Talk about Menkata Cottelee are great ones to start with.
