MTH is a huge influence for a lot of Japanese rock and metal bands. Their drummer Nao has been an especially huge influence for two of my favorite drummers, Akane Hirose of Band Maid, and Murata Tamu of Nemophila both say that Nao was the drummer that convinced them that female drummers could be great.
MTH are a fantastic band and very influential in Japan. The female drummers in many bands were inspired by Nao-chan, the drummer/vocalist you see in this video. The guitarist/vocalist/main songwriter, Maximum the Ryo-kun, is her brother. The harsh vocalist is Daisuke-han and the bass/vocals guy is Ue-Chan(g).
Their songs often contain multiple changes in tempo and style and may totally swap genres unexpectedly. They combine extreme heaviness with strong melodies, humour and irony.
The all-female Japanese metal band Nemophila have covered two Maximum the Hormone songs, ‘Shimi’ and ‘Zetsubou Billy’. You may enjoy checking those out. The drummer in Nemophila is one who was inspired to learn drums by discovering Nao-chan and MTH.
BTW, I agree with @ronaldleach9899. Your studio and lighting setup are great.
Maximum the hormone is amazing, they are the band that made the death note intro song, the bass player is a monster
I can safely say I have never heard this song and also not the band before. But such a catchy song!!!
MTH are pure fun. They are HUGE in Japan. The drummer and Guitarist are sister and brother. They make very surreal videos that will surprise and delight you. The band formed in the late nineties and they are still active: their latest video is “Koino America” and it is a riot.

Sperma means exactly what you think it means. MAXIMUM THE HORMONE are a very influential band in Japan, many Japanese bands would probably not exist if it wasn’t for MTH.
Ok, you listened to Babymetal (listen to more of them) and you listened to Lovebites (listen to more of them) and now MTH. you have only scratched the surface of Japanese music.

Wagakki Band – Senbonzakura (1,000 cherry blossoms) They use traditional Japanese instruments as well as western instruments.

Unlucky Morpheus – CADAVER/REVADAC They play CADAVER, then play it backwards note for note, REVADAC. Btw, they have a heavy metal violinist.
DOLLS$BOXX – Take My Chance
Galneryus – Angel of Salvation
MAXIMUM THE HORMONE – A.L.I.E.N.
Yōsei Teikoku – Astrial Dogma
And if you want to try India, yes India has metal bands, Look for Bloodywood and their song, Aaj. Don’t worry they sing in both Hindi and English.

Such an influentional band. Just amazing. Dont read much manga myself, but heard they made a full chapter in Chainsawman with basicly just the lyrics of Chu chu lovely. Tamu from Nemophila even joined a competition just to get to meet Nao

This is the best band in the world atm IMO, they’re awesome. Listen to any tracks anyone in the comments recommends you can’t go wrong they’re all great. Tsume Tsume Tsume would be my choice to get an idea of what they’re all about.
