MTH are definitely one of the funnest hard music bands around.
I watched an entire MTH concert on line. Their energy for every minute of every song was mind boggling. The Japanese put everything they have into their performances.
Great reaction Joel, picking some great clips for your guest.
They used this as the closure for their set at NEX Fest Tokyo. I was close to the rail with tens of thousands of people doing the dance. It was so packed you couldn’t help but to join in even if you don’t know the entire dance. Such a blast!
So long astoria!!!! 🤘🤘
The greatest song ever made about conception.
Awesome band, your friend seemed to like them – he may be a bit intimidated by them LOL
He’s right about not following Maximum the Hormone. No way can anyone top them. The drummer, Neo has influenced many female drummers in Japan. Akane and Tamu are both big fans.
Maybe not the right song to introduce MtH to someone who doesn’t know them. Perhaps you should have started with “Zetsybou Billy! or “What’s up people! or a more recent “Maximum the Hormone II” Don’t get me wrong, I love this song!
MTH and Babymetal are definitely my favs from Japan. So much variety!!
