麺カタコッテリで腹ペコラー!

4/4 in the series. Definitely saved the most mental until last. I mean let them say it for me:
“Maximum the Hormone 2nd brand new music video dedicated to all the gouty people! Eat it with your eyes and ears!!”

I could big up this song, but let me let them introduce it for you… “Maximum the Hormone 2nd brand new music video dedicated to all the gouty people! Eat it with your eyes and ears!!” Check out my first ever reaction to them. Lol I’m so innocent here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoaGjAJOWFg&t

That was interesting to say the least.
I wasn’t too into the song myself but great reaction nonetheless.

Great reaction, no one else knows what’s happening either, but it’s about the lead guitarists getting flack from fans when he lost weight because his doctor told him he was going to die if he didn’t and this song is middle finger to those fans that dissed him. FYI Babymetal is gonig to live stream their 2016 Tokyo Dome two night show on April 9 at 7am EST (I think that would be 8pm your time maybe) and the second show on April 11 at same time – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjN5mFf3YRg

Noise Maximum the Hormone /,,/ Have you check Crossfaith’ Digital Paradise, it’s like the shorten version of “The Perfect Nightmare.”

This is an answer song to the previous MV you reacted to, “maximum the hormone” (that’s why this one is called “2”). That’s why the MV is intentionally similar to the other one. In the previous song he was singing about things he felt cool at the time. He was saying he likes kottelee (こってり=thick) ramen and his life should be like that too, implying a thick and short life. Then he got gouty and had to lose weight for his life. Fans were complaining about his new look and his change of philosophy. In this song he fights back to his fans that it isn’t change of philosophy but the definition of kottelee has changed. Now he’s saying “I’m gonna live a kottelee lifestyle (生き様), and live longer than any of you!”.
It’s always hard to understand their lyrics without the context but I got goosebumps when I first heard this song.

The content of this song is a story that Ryo-kun got gout and recommended to a doctor to lose weight. But what if a rock singer changes his style with fear of death? Is it rock? What is a rock life? So he still eats ramen today. I felt he sang this song that way. Perhaps.

I love this band! I don’t know if you’ve listened to more off cam or want to do more reactions to them, but I recommend their song Yoshu Fukushu to listen to next. It’s my absolute favourite song. Not just by this band.

Good reaction, mate! But this is serious music lol.
As you may know, Roy-Kun who is the guitarist, was fat. He was said “you would die if you kept you life style” by doctor.
He succeed diet but some MTH fun’s said “we liked before looks”.
So he felt angry. He put up with healthy food to live.
This music express “I want to eat something but if I eat them. I’ll suffer from gout”. That’s why he sing “Ashi ni deru pain”.
I think also Funk part express his desire. No building, No exercise etc.
Last part explain situation of gout in Japan. Finally, he eat ramen in conclusion.

Maxima The Ryo was a trademark of obesity from the beginning of his activity, but he lost weight significantly in 2015 due to a diet as a treatment for lifestyle-related diseases, and now the song is due to the collapse of Ryo’s public image Answer song to the criticism

Basically the guitar player was way overweight, so a doc told him he needed to lose weight and get in shape to live.
He did.
Fans complained that they liked the fat version of him.
This song is their response to the fans.
