I totally messed up. I gave the explanation for the wrong song. The description I gave was for the song Let’s Talk About Menkata Cottelee. My bad! Hope you can forgive me.

Glad you’re liking MTH. Should just react to the whole Youshu Fukushu album. If you can find the video for “F” you won’t be disappointed; it’s about Freeza from Dragonball.

In 2011 they were in germany for 2 concerts. i was on one of them (my first concert) and it was awesome. i went to different concerts over the years and they were never as good as them.
The most funny part to me is, that they dance like in their videos even on stage. always makes me wonder how they managed playing the songs with this crazy dancing.

Nice really love this song, surely they’re on my top 10 J-bands. You should try Zetsuo Billy(Billy in despair) by them, one of Deathnote theme song. The guy you were talking about is also a fan of Tool, you’ll see him wearing a shirt on my suggestion song. My other band recommendation, please try PassCode – Dive into the Light(Live), or the song Trace. /,,/

I recommend their song Yoshu Fukushu. My absolute favourite song. Not just by this band. It takes you on such a journey and really shows their ability to mix genres. Such an awesome band. Glad to see some new fans!

I saw them at Le Bataclan in Paris 2011 and they are batshit crazy. Best concert I’ve been to. Might’ve been the intimate feel of the venue also. It was hot and sweaty and people had to be carried out to get some air. Sadly I stood in the merch queue when Nao and Ryo’s mom was outside talking with my friends 🙂

“I never loved something that I don’t understand the lyrics to” <-- So that rules out all of growl metal? =) I usually can't get into most lyrics, and generally prefer either instrumentals or songs in languages I don't understand. Makes MtH a great fit, since even the Japanese can't really understand them without reading the lyrics. =)

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them live during their only European tour. They bring the same energy on stage as they do in the video’s. They do a lot of crowd interaction which was hard at first since they don’t speak English and the european crowd doesn’t speak Japanese, but we all know Dragonball, so Kamehameha waves became a thing that show. 🙂
Could you please check out my favorite Japanese band: Crossfaith. Songs: Countdown to Hell (official live video), Catastrophe or Perfect Nightmare

I’ve been to Japan 4 times now, I timed every trip so I could get a chance to see them live. But the damn tickets are through lottery, so no luck yet. Same thing with the merch. It is literally impossible to buy a shirt, everything is sold out always. You guys should check their official cover band. They formed an official coverband of themselves through auditions. Yeah, this is one weird band. And my favorite for the past 15 years.

If you have never been to a gig in Japan, it is kind of hard to describe. Japanese fans are crazy, but there is always an order to it. You will see flags, waving towels, mosh pits that nobody gets hurt in, and all manner of shit. Plus, if it is summer, it is always about 95 degrees with 80% himidity…they use fire hoses on the crowds to cool them down. You can’t describe it until you have been to one, then you will know. LOL The best thing is that everybody has a fucking great time and nobody gets hurt. And then, there are the mosquitoes…but, that’s a bummer, so…let’s stay positive.

They are definitely still playing live. They are featuring at a French HELLFEST metal music festival next year, problem is tickets are really expensive even for one day.

With lyrics like “fight” do people in their concert fight for real in japan? Cause if its in the US/europe/aussie people will fight for real i think, especially with that kind of beats.

I went to their tour for the first time of my life in Nagoya! (FYI I’m Japanese) getting their ticket is hard and tricky because you know… literally everyone who found this band can’t stop their eager to see them live, right??
The people on this video are all their fans, even the business men ;)) so you can’t see how the fans know to enjoy their gig even though it must have been their first time to listen while this song 🧡🧡 I just can’t stop loving them!!!
Hope you all have chance to see MTH live someday soon!

I love this band so much, they can change tempo/genre in one song but still sounds so good. The Guitarist Ryo and the Drummer Nao are brother and sister.😍
