So they had to stop touring and everything, so I think Ryo wanted to give fans something so they won’t get bored during hiatus. I’m suspecting it was supposed to be one of the minor songs in the album but they decided to shoot a music video for it because it was a lighter song and appropriate for Daisuke at the time.
The conversation at the end is Daisuke saying “Wait, aren’t we gonna start the heavy part now? Like we did for ‘your little hand’? I thought this was a troll song again. My part is called ‘the screachy noisy one’, so it doesn’t make sense if I don’t do any screaming or growling.” And then Nao explains that this is a serious song and makes fun of him about his neck and that he really looks like his mum (Mitsue) when he took off his sunglasses. Ryo and Ue-chan are really shy so you never hear them speak on music videos or lives. But Ryo has changed since he lost weight and now he’s talking a lot on media, but still never in lives.
The song is basically about them moving from VAP to Warner music (the title means “Dear VAP”). But the lyrics aren’t in Japanese but in “Planet Ryo language”. So you’re probably right that it may sound Spanish or English at times, because it’s kind of meant to sound foreign to everyone. They later sold a sheet that you can use to translate Planet Ryo language into Japanese.

I wish they would just sell their merch internationally officially its so hard to get. Daisuke’s blank expression while he drums cracks me up every time I love it.

‘Haikei’ of this song’s title ‘Haikei VAP Dono’ is a conventional word used at the beginning of the letter. ‘Dono’ is a polite one respecting someone or some kind of organization using after the name. So this is like making the English phrase ‘Dear 〜’ polite.

I was thinking closer to NOFX than Green Day. But that’s just me.

Some of MtH’s songs end with Ryo making a quack noise, sort of like this one. I usually find it pretty jolting and unexpected. If you listen to ‘Koi No Kinako Watashi Ni Kudasai’, it’s a beautiful piano (yes, not metal) song, but then “MWAAH!!!”. So whenever I listened to a new MtH song, I gotta pay attention if Ryo’s gonna give me a slight heart attack at the end.

You should listen to something from one of their first 2 albums, you’ve only heard from their 3rd and 4th album as well as some new singles that will probably make it into the 5th album if that ever comes out. Their second album has got some unique sound to it

You guys said it sounds like Spanish, It is almost correct. Because it isn’t Japanese but Planet of Ryo-kun. Subtitles are translation to Japanese. It is one of the interesting of their joke. Nobody understand what they are singing exactly.
Actually all of other song isn’t clear Japanese anyway lol.
