I love Nao’s scream on Debu vs Debu so I added it to my cover 🙂

Wow, only finding this video 8 years later and you are already impossibly perfect. I can’t even imagine today. Literal god.

I am pretty sure he uses it to keep from switching the pick up selector switch. When I watched debu and deco I could not figure it out either. Then I got this guitar and quickly realized when you are playing like Ryo you constantly hit that switch. Only way to solve the problem is to tape it off. 🙂

@MAXIMUMintheHORMONE How do you like the dean? my Bass is a Dean, and so far i haven’t found a more comfortable playing bass!

I have always used active pickups until I started playing this Dean. It has passive pups but sounds really good. Active pickups like EMG-81 and SD blackouts sound really bright through this amp.

As far as guitars go I have always thought that heavy dense wood like mahogany bodies have a tighter deeper sound. Lighter wood less dense like ash bodies have a musher loose sound … That does not mean just because it is heavy it will sound tighter. Some ash bodies are heavy but sound mushy to me … or maybe I am crazy 🙂

I bought mine at Guitar Center. The combo’s 112 & 212 have the heads built in. I originally had the 212 combo and took it back for the separate head and cab. The combo’s are extremely heavy 🙂 The stock tubes on these amps SUCK. If you get one be prepared to re-tube with better tubes. Plus my model has SUCKY reverb … but I don’t use it anyway.

It all comes down to what type of tone you want and what you are willing to pay. I would recommend visiting a guitar store and playing through the amps with different guitars. I liked the Egnater because of the ability to blend the power tubes, ease of putting whatever tubes you want in, and the price. For the price it has a great tone that competes with higher priced amps.

These are really good amps for the price, but they do have some minor issues. I will message you the Egnater forum link. Do a search for “Renegade” on the forum and you can see what others are saying.

I used a Sennheiser e835 to mic cabinet, Egnater Renegade, recorded in cakewalk. The only effect I use in cakewalk is an equalizer with a high pass filter to cut any hiss or hot notes. The guitar and amp really sound good together.

I have the 212 cab. I did not use anything else. The guitar has stock pickups. I have no idea what they are 🙂
There is definitely a tone difference between this guitar and my schecter when playing through this amp.
