Wow, jumping right into the deep end on this one, MtH is a rather odd J-metal band, they’re known for completely switching genres through the course of a song.

I’m what the hell was that?! I like some metal but this was too much even for me. Just demonic, bi polar noise!!! So weird!! Lol
Maximum the Hormone is one of the best bands on the planet, and for sure one of the best to come out of Japan. This band does carry some powerful messages in their songs, but they also love to have fun, and don’t take themselves too seriously. This song, Alien, refers to the act of illegal music downloading and pirating of music. Whinny Upload was the Japanese version of Napster. Many bands had their music stolen on that back in the day when it was first released. One of the reasons for the sudden transition near the end of the song, is them making fun of bands who lose their edge because they let their fear of pirating control them. Maximum the Hormone believe in staying true to who you are, no matter what happens, and not letting the outside world change that. The conversation at the end between the drummer and the singer basically translates to the Nao-Chan (The drummer) telling Daisuke-Kun (The Singer) that no one uses Whinny Upload anymore, and that it is pointless to worry about it. That he’ll end up old like his mom if he does. They are fantastic band, and every song that they do sounds different from the last.
You should check out their song Yoshu Fukushu. It’s my absolute favourite song. Not just by this band. They’re masters at mixing genres and somehow making it work. So expect the unexpected and enjoy the ride they take you on 😆

I’m a bit late, but I love your reaction. Maximum the Hormone is not for everyone, they’re pretty extreme. One of my favorite japanese bands.
