Maximum the Hormone is a fantastic band, certainly one of the greatest to come out of Japan. They have been around since 1998, and have been in the current lineup since 2000. They don’t follow the typical rules of Metal. They have their own unique sound. One thing you will see is that they do not take themselves too seriously. They have fun, and love creating music. You can feel that passion in every song they create. This particular song is about Whinny Upload, which is the Japanese version of Napster. Many artists had their music stolen on that program. This is an anti-piracy song, but it also makes fun of bands who lose their edge because they worry about their music being taken, hence why the song changes so abruptly. MTH would never do that, they are always about staying true to who they are as musicians, not letting any outside influence, even their own fans, change that. The biggest thing I can say about them, is expect the unexpected, because you’ll never know what the next song might be like. Some of my personal favorite songs are:
Lmao MTH the best troll band ever /,,/ You really love DBZ, you have the shirt and tattoos, android painting, even the cat named Chi-chi. MTH also has an ost from DBZ movie resurrection F, song called “F”. But my real suggestion though, please do check out PassCode – Miss Unlimited (Live), very easy to find on their channel. De blander nærmest alle genrer, og de får det til at virke rigtigt godt 🙂 Glæder mig allerede til at finde ud af, hvilken sang du tager op med dem næste gang (men pas lidt på med dem, for de plejer at være strikse med deres musik og videoer, og de desværre har fået lagt andre reaktions-kanaler ned) De bedste hilsner
