M.T.H. have been around for 20 years. They can’t really be placed into one specific genre, because they will draw from any and all. One of my favorites.
My all time favourite song!! It’s just a masterpiece in transitions and genre mixing.
Maximum the Hormone is a great band and never boring. You should check out Maximum the Hormone II -Let’s Talk about Menkata Cottelee, and Buiikikaesu too.
Also there’s just a lot of great music from Japan in general. I highly recommend checking out the prog rock band Sokoninaru and their songs Gou Ni Moyu, Tenohira De Odoru, and Lament Moment 🖤

There’s nothing wrong with your reaction presentation. It sounds good (that the main thing) and visually…. it’s your thing, your style. If you want to change it up coz YOU want to change it up… fine, but don’t let a small number of snowflakes dictate “your thing”. It’s all good.
As for Maximum The Hormone…..I found them the after watching Band-Maid’s Akane playing drums in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ik6UBQmXW0 (which I think would be from 2014) to Benjo Sandal Dance by Maximum the Hormone. Nao, the drummer of MTH, as a woman, inspired Akane to really continue with the drums…. MTH have a huge influence on a couple Band-Maid members.
